| Gros Ventre |
| If you’re in the market to see some of the Wyoming wildlife you’ve come to the right place. The Gros Ventre is a winter feeding ground for a variety of our local animals and snowmobilers have reported seeing moose, elk, big horned sheep, and coyotes. Continuing past herds the of elk and occasional grazing moose, the trail will lead you out to the Continental Divide Overlook where you can see all six of our surrounding states on a clear day. |  |

This charming mountain community located 35 miles south of Jackson serves as a trailhead to the Grey's River trail system. Grey’s is ranked as one of the top 10 snowmobile trails by SnoWest Magazine, snowmobilers travel from all over the world to enjoy it. You can spend one day or several enjoying 177 miles of groomed trails that wind through some of Wyoming’s most breathtaking scenery. Stop for lunch at the Box Y Lodge 30 miles into the trail system and warm up by their fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. Snowmobiles can be picked up in Alpine, and ridden directly to the trailhead, eliminating any need to trailer the snowmobiles to your destination.
